make a wish

we celebrated uncle beak's 55th birthday on monday. people were late as usual, so eric and i went ahead and ordered the food. we decided to order stuff that we didnt usually eat. it was like a kid picking out a toy at a toy store, they just want everything there is. from the wild boars meat to ostrich meat. whatever was on the menu, we just wanted to try. hahaha. but didnt la..have to think about the others mar... the food we ordered turned out pretty good except for the venison that tasted like rubber. HAHA


edward had me guessing what cake he bought for uncle beak. the clue he gave was "the grandest cake you ever seen and wanted as a kid." turned out to be black forest which i never quite fancied. so of course, i couldnt guess it right till it was time to blow the cake. hahaha. and again the cake was good. not too sweet, and the berry didnt outshine the chocolate sponge. :)


yu hao, of course like any other celebration, he thinks its his birthday. heck, its his birthday everyday. if we were to celebrate each and everyone of our birthdays with him around, there would be 30++ cakes for him to blow. hahaha
