the camera from above

i am a tad bit disappointed with myself.
i personally feel like my work has been going *thruuuuuuuu* down.


if i paint or draw from a photo or reference, the piece would turn out good.

but if i were to paint from imagination, i dont know where the hell the light and shadows are...

i miss how my hands work during those two days painting myself. +)
and the shiny shiny glossy oil paint applied on.


why are my paints losing its shiny-ness??
