diverge

You’re the one I can’t forget
No matter how far apart we are
My voice cries out and I know we’ll meet again

It seems so far
Even though we could have walked this road long ago
Starting from the streets I don’t recognize anymore

The wind gently asks for an answer as it blows
Yes, forever

I can’t forget you
That time which was brittle as glass
Still resides within my heart
And will not disappear

It’s so lonely
Even though I thought the gentle smile
In my photo album would last forever

Why am I not able to chase after you?
Yes, forever

I can’t forget you even as time rushes by
We’ll exchange our love and even as I tremble, I can walk on

Now on this endless journey
In which I’ve destroyed everything
I embrace a tiny bit of happiness
To get me through today

Even now a joyous face is branded on
Yet your body still fades away
That frame, that phrase
You hurt me and chose a different rail
Why do people’s feeling change?
Is this the bottom of Naraka for those with deep desires?
I apologize and gives thanks
To my beloved days and to you

No matter how it turns out

You’re the one I can’t forget
No matter how far apart we are
My voice cries out and I know we’ll meet again

I realize that all things that take shape
Must come to an end someday
Yet still the world keeps on turning

I can’t forget you even as time rushes by
We’ll exchange our love and even as I tremble, I can walk on
(Yes, forever)

You’re the one I can’t forget
Even if this world withers away to nothing
I don’t regret standing here now
