chen chen?

mother kept on insisting that she change her name
she just found out yesterday that her name is a scientific name for a type of yeast or bacteria...XD
so now she is praying that God will give her a new name
she wants a name from the bible so she did her own little name hunting
while she was doing that, i told her about all my problems with my name and how people can never pronounce it on their 1st, 2nd, 3rd....time *sigh* (mother laughed like crazy when she heard it)
so far only 2 people got it right on their first try.

she wants a name that starts with a C because ours starts with a C too.
she says that our chinese name match our dad's which starts with a M
and so our english name must match hers.
and so after 15 minutes of looking, she found a name Chenaanah. (really dumb name) (it's just for fun)
Chenaanah was a guys name, and to make it a girl's name, she added "ee" to the end = Chenaanahee.
after hearing it for the first time, we were laughing together for quite some time.
the neighbours must think that we were drunk because we really did sound like it.

the worst part was mother's surname is Chen. Chenaanahee in short is also Chen.
i then started calling her either Chenaanahee or Chen Chen
she laughed some more. and then she started to introduce herself to imaginary people saying "hi, i'm Chen Chen. short for Chenaanahee." and that made her laugh more and more. talk about SS.
